How To Order Your Stained Glass

If you live far away and would like stained glass for a window or a door and do not know how to go about acquiring your own personal design? Triskell design suggests you first measure the intended space.

If the space is square, you must precisely to the millimetre measure the four sides as well as the two diagonals. Please do not forget to include the width of the lip on which the panel will rest. The lip must be flat and at least 0.8 cm wide.

If the intended space is another shape measure to the last millimetre the straight sides. Please put them on a scaled drawing showing the precise shape to be filled. Using adhesive tape stick brown paper on the space and use a soft pencil to draw the outline of the free space. This is important to get your stain glass piece flush with its surround. If you already have double-glazing there are special clips to fix the stain glass panel to the window.

Once this is done contact Triskell Design either by phone, Internet or visiting the studio. Triskell design will give you a design and estimate within a ten-day period. On approval of the design you will be asked to choose your glass. All you have to do is sit back and wait for a few days to see your dream manifested in beautiful scintillating stained glass.
